Privacy Policy – Maximum Electronics Security (1984) Ltd.
Last updated: 7/1/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Maximum Electronics Security (1984) Ltd. (the “Company”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use:
1) our website https://maximum.co.il (the “Website”), and
2) our mobile application (the “App”) and related cloud services (together, the “Services”).
By using the Website or the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1) Who we are and how to contact us

Privacy/Support email: Support@maximum.co.il

2) What information we collect
We collect information in the following ways:
2.1 Information you provide to us
• Website: information you submit via forms, inquiries, or account registration/login (if applicable).
• Website comments: when visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to Gravatar to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
• App: account and authentication details (such as email/phone and login information), and any information you provide to customer support.
2.2 Technical and usage data (collected automatically)
• Device and software information (model, OS, app/browser version, language).
• IP address, logs and technical records for security and operations.
• In the App we use Firebase Analytics (usage analytics) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting), which may collect usage and diagnostic data.
2.3 Security system / device and cloud-related data
Because the App is used to manage security devices and systems, we may process:
• Device identifiers and configuration data (e.g., device IDs, settings, configuration).
• Operational and event-related data generated during use (e.g., connection status, setup actions, configuration files).
• Some data is stored in the cloud to enable service functionality, backup, and remote management (as applicable).
We do not sell personal data.
3) App permissions and how we use them
The App may request permissions strictly for functionality:
• Bluetooth: core connectivity with MAX security devices.
• Location: required by iOS/Android for Bluetooth (BLE) scanning. We do not use this permission to track you, and we do not intentionally collect precise GPS location for profiling or advertising.
• Camera: QR code scanning for device setup.
• Photo Library: save/load configuration images you choose.
• Storage / Files (Android): save/load configuration files.
• Biometric Authentication: secure app access. We do not access or store your biometric data; the operating system performs biometric matching and returns only a success/failure result.
• Internet: connectivity to our cloud services and servers.
• Audio / Microphone: the App plays pre-recorded sound files (beeps) for feedback (success/error/connection). The App does not record audio and does not use microphone input. If a microphone permission appears on your device, it may be a legacy/dependency artifact (e.g., expo‑av) and is not used for recording, voice capture, or streaming.
You can manage permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work without certain permissions.
4) How we use information
We use information to:
• Provide and operate the Website, App, and Services (including login and system management).
• Enable device setup, configuration, and connectivity with security systems.
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse/fraud, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance.
• Improve product experience using analytics and crash diagnostics.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
5) Cookies on the Website
The Website uses cookies for functionality and convenience, including:
• Comment cookies (name/email/website) – up to about one year.
• A temporary login page cookie to test browser support (deleted when you close your browser).
• Login and display preference cookies (including “Remember Me” if selected).
• An edit/publish cookie (post ID only; expires after about 1 day).
You can control cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not function properly.
6) Embedded content from other websites
Articles/pages may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the third‑party website, which may collect data, use cookies, and track your interaction under its own policies.
7) Sharing of information
We share information only as necessary to operate the Services:
• Google Firebase as a processor (Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics).
• Infrastructure/hosting/security providers as needed to operate our systems.
• Spam detection services: website comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
• Gravatar: email hash may be sent to check whether you use the service, as described above.
• Legal compliance: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, security, and safety.
We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing without consent.
8) Data retention
- Website comments: retained by default indefinitely to recognize and approve follow‑up comments.
• Website/App accounts: retained while the account is active; upon deletion request, data will be deleted or anonymized where possible, subject to legal/security obligations.
• Cloud/config/log data: retained as needed to provide the Services, security and support; backups may be retained for a limited period.
9) Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, receive a copy of, restrict processing of, or delete personal data.
For privacy requests, account deletion, or data deletion requests, contact: Support@maximum.co.il.
We may retain limited data where required for legal compliance or security.
10) Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No method is 100% secure.
11) International transfers
Your data may be processed or stored outside Israel (e.g., via cloud providers such as Google). We take reasonable measures to protect data in such cases.
12) Children’s privacy
The Services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version.
